Great news is that Project X Presents continues to gather momentum with an event as part of the opening celebrations of new venue Concrete (an expansion on what was the Boiler Room).
This event is a little smaller in scale than our two previous shows, but offers a similarly lovely wide range of fine artistic output. Perhaps the main step forward from our previous events has been the emergence of Object X – a group within a group – comprising a wonderful bunch of technically minded creative types who specialise in the production of interactive sound and light installations that explore the psychology of play. They should provide yet another whole new fascinating element to the Project X Presents “omnimedia experience”.
For those who are wondering what my name is doing on the flyer when Im currently on the other side of the planet (six months in australia) – well, thanks to the kind assistance of Christian Haines – lecturer in Eletronic Music at Adelaide University – I will be playing in the event via the internet! How 21st century is that!?
Hope you can make the show – tickets only a £5 on the door – should be a great night.
