There's a great night in Brighton called <a href="http://www.myspace.com/thebleedingheartsclub" rel="nofollow">Bleeding Hearts</a> which takes place above a pub once a month - three acoustic acts doing no more than 15 minutes each (so drunken audience members don't have to stop their conversations for too long).
