“pocket festival”
I came up with a nice little metaphor for Project X Presents this morning, and its Beach Boys related (something which those that know me will understand pleased me considerably!).
The track Good Vibrations has been described as a “pocket symphony” and it occurs to me that a good way to describe a Project X Presents event might be a “pocket festival”.
This isn’t the first Brian Wilson related comparison that has come to me in the amazing journey that has been the evolution of the X Project (its only 90% ready General! – sorry, in-joke) as I have written before about similarities I see in the creative approach between our efforts and the great lost (and found) Brian Wilson/Beach Boys album Smile. I’ll have to dig that essay out sometime as its no longer on the Project X site.
