It's not so much to be the one stop place to find stuff because that's not feasable for a city this size. It's more to show people what a blog can do and to support them in running their own. Eventually I'm hoping there'll be a large network of blogs like yours all interlinking and sharing information and CiB will just be a clearing out, pointing out new ones and highlighting the big topics. The actual work will happen in a more distributed, community-style way, only it'll be more accessible to people not already in the loops than it is currently. This is what will make Birmingham's online life more vital - not a single monolithic site like CiB but hundreds and thousands of them operating Gestalt-style. Ah, I can ramble about this for yonks.
